Beverly Stadler

Beverly holds a 3 year AA degree in interior design and has been working in the Orange County community for 26 years. She is an NCIDQ certified professional member of the American Society of Interior Design. Her commitment to excellence is apparent to all who know her. She has been honored by national design organizations and affiliations, having won both national window fashion and tile design awards, and is consistently recognized by her regional design community with numerous awards and publications.

Beverly’s reputation for excellence, ethical values, and respect in the community led to multiple leadership roles within the ASID organization, where she ultimately served as president of the organization in 2003-2004. She currently remains active within the organization, and serves as a regional jury member for the NCIDQ examination twice yearly.

Known for her ability to create timeless designs of any type, Beverly prides herself on her unique talent to create individual and distinctive designs for each client, both residential and commercial. Her goal is to create designs that reflect and enhance her clients’ lifestyles and passions, no matter what the current trends may be.

When our clients come home to their newly installed homes and say, “It’s so beautiful-everything I ever wanted and more than I even knew I wanted!’ That’s when we know we’ve done our job. Design is more than a passion and talent for creativity. Without the ability to articulate that creativity into the dream held in our client’s mind, it doesn’t come alive for us at Design Focus. That’s our specialty.”

Gilda Bahadori

Gilda is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Design, having moved up from active student membership while attending Saddleback College’s Interior Design Program. It was while Gilda was enrolled as an undergrad at Saddleback that she joined our ranks as an intern, and she fit so well that we couldn’t let her go! Gilda joined our team full time once she completed her degree in interior design in the fall of 2007, and is our CAD drafting specialist.

By utilizing CAD, dimensioning is accurate, and reflected ceiling lighting plans and floor outlet plans can be coordinated within inches, ideal and innovative space plans that fulfill functional needs, while allowing for adequate traffic flow and furniture placement can be created, and all these plans can be coordinated pre- construction. Once preliminary plans are solidified, Gilda brings them to life long before reality through her deft elevation and perspective skills on CAD, so our clients always have the information they need to make sound design decisions.

Evelyn Johnson

While Evelyn is still technically a student designer, she has had so much experience that we often forget that! Evelyn is more than halfway through her program at the Saddleback College Design Program, and has been president of their ASID design chapter, head of two of their student design house projects, student representative to the ASID Orange County Board, student program chair for the Cystic Fibrosis Project, ASID Student of the Year for 2005, and headed her church board's remodel team, practically orchestrating the remodel and redesign of a large local church single handedly. Evelyn has been working with us here at Design Focus for nearly five years and focuses her primary efforts on researching fabrics and furniture for our projects. She is an invaluable member of our team.

Zen Campbell

‘Zen’ is the able administrator who keeps things running smoothly here at Design Focus. While clearly overqualified for the job, holding a masters degree in an unrelated field, we are grateful Zen decided to try a new adventure close to home. Interior Design involves some very involved and often confusing paperwork, as one item alone can often be comprised of many component parts. Zen keeps it all straight and understandable and is always able to answer billing questions promptly and courteously. ‘Zen’ surely brings a sense of order and calm to our office and to the clients with whom she comes in contact!

Sahar Khoury

Sahar has been behind the scenes at Khoury Bookkeeping assisting us to do all those bookkeeping details since the day we opened back in 1983. We don’t know what we would do without her!
